Valerie K. Williams is the Managing Partner and one of the founding members of Keller, Lisgar & Williams LLP, a full-service law firm serving clients throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Born and raised in Millville, New Jersey, Valerie discovered her passion for advocacy early—earning the title of “Best Speaker in South Jersey” from the South Jersey Debate League during her senior year of high school. That early recognition sparked her pursuit of a lifelong career in law.

After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Stockton University in 1994, she went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, where she served as Secretary of the Student Bar Association. She graduated in 1998 and passed the PA bar exam that same year.

Since co-founding Keller, Lisgar & Williams LLP in 2003, Valerie has built a thriving litigation practice and has become a trusted and respected advocate in both the PA state and federal courts. She recently returned to her roots in South Jersey, where she continues to expand her practice and serve the very clients in the community who helped to shape her early career and values.

With almost three decades of courtroom experience, Valerie focuses her practice primarily on personal injury litigation, including death and catastrophic injuries caused by automobile accidents, fallen trees, construction accidents, sexual assault, assault, slip and falls, drunk drivers, dram shop, medical malpractice, product defects and more.

Known for her tenacity and courtroom skill, Valerie has litigated against some of the most formidable defense firms in the city, securing millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for victims and their families. She has earned a reputation for delivering results.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia and Delaware County Bar Associations, and the American Association for Justice (formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America). Valerie is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania (1998), New Jersey (2021), and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (1999). She also serves as an arbitrator several times each year.

Her professional excellence has been widely recognized. She has been featured in Suburban Life/Philadelphia Life Magazine’s Top Attorneys editions, named among The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 since 2016, honored as a “Rising Star Super Lawyer” on multiple occasions and honored as a “Super Lawyer” since 2023, a distinction reserved for Pennsylvania’s most respected practitioners.

Outside of her legal practice, Valerie enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends at the mountains or by the shore. She and her husband have two adult sons—one a Division I football player at Duquesne University intending to pursue a legal career, and the other a University of Delaware graduate and U.S. Army aviator aspiring to become a commercial airline pilot.
