Workers Compensation Overview

If you sustain an injury while working, or a work-related illness, you may be entitled to payment of your medical expenses and wage-loss under the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act until you are able to go back to work. Additional benefits may be available to the spouse and children for the work-related death of a worker. Benefits are paid by private insurance companies/third-party administrators, or the State Workers’ Insurance Fund.
