$3 Million Dollar Settlement against distracted truck driver who caused client to suffer from RSD/CRPS

A truck driver who attempted to retrieve documents that had fallen to the floor of the tractor slammed into the back of a moving car, causing the driver of that car to sustain serious and permanent injuries, including a diagnosis of RSD, CRPS and disequilibrium syndrome. Valerie K. Williams successfully settled the matter against the truck driver and his employer for the policy limits of $3 million dollars.

$900,000 settlement against Philadelphia Nightclub for serving alcohol to a minor and other intoxicated person

The case involved a gentleman’s club in Philadelphia that continued to serve a 20 year old girl (a minor) and her boyfriend with large quantities of alcohol, after they were visibly intoxicated. At closing time, the couple drove away in her car. The boyfriend caused the car to strike a guardrail on I95, flipping the car over and throwing the girl approximately 40 feet into the highway. A Bucks County jury finds the defendant “Not Guilty” of simple assault, neglect, and reckless endangerment

The defendant was charged with simple assault, neglect, and recklessly endangering another person while performing her duties at work. She plead her innocence and hired Robert C. Keller to represent her at time of trial. Mr. Keller’s zealous representation resulted in her acquittal. The Bucks County jury found her “not guilty” on all charges, in less than one hour of deliberating.

A successful recovery – left turn on a green arrow

In a case involving a car accident, Payne claimed that he had the right of way with a green light and that Jones had only a green arrow when she turned in front of him.  Payne initially brought suit against Jones in District Court, where he was awarded damages.
